Today was the best I’ve felt in a while. To be cuddled and spoken to like before everything came crumbling down. To talk about something, both flash a little smile and then bursting into a laughter. You grabbing onto me and holding on tightly.

It was a bit out of the blue because things had gotten way too complicated but I don’t care because for once, the old me surfaced for an hour or so.

And I know, it’s not possible any more because we’ve left it till too late, but thank you for today. For a moment I felt the weight lifted from my heart. I’m so blessed to have a person like you in my life.
